Engagement in global advocacy on the post-2015 development agenda

IT for Change has been extremely active in the post-2015 global advocacy spaces, especially in the initiatives organised by the post-2015 Women's Coalition and the Asia Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism (AP-RCEM).

Engagement with the post-2015 Women's Coalition

In May 2014, Anita Gurumurthy, IT for Change represented the Post-2015 Women's Coalition at the UNPGA 's High Level event on the “Contributions of North -South, South-South, Triangular Cooperation, and ICT for development to the implementation of the Post-2015 Development Agenda” in New York, and submitted inputs on how ICT could be utilized to achieve effective means of implementation for the post-2015 Development Agenda.

In December 2014, as a member of the Advocacy Committee of the Post-2015 Women's Coalition, IT for Change submitted comments in response to the Coalition's call for feedback on the UN Secretary-General's report on 'The Road to Dignity by 2030: Ending Poverty, Transforming all Lives and Protecting the Planet'.

Engagement with the AP-RCEM

In December 2014, IT for Change contributed to AP-RCEM's comments on the UN Secretary General's Report on the post-2015 agenda, on 'The Road to Dignity by 2030: Ending Poverty, Transforming all Lives and Protecting the Planet' . See our submission here.

In August 2015, IT for Change contributed to AP-RCEM's response to the final text of the post-2015 development agenda document 'Transforming our World: The 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development'.
